That is the bacon that I’m frying like mad so I can spaghetti with meatballs. Why the hypocracy you ask? I’m currently studying about the heart and how a healthy heart works and the problems associated with a non-healthy one. Problems such as high cholesterol and atherosclerosis and blah blah blah. But that’s what life [...]

Thought I’d throw some random pictures. One’s of a cerkiew (Think Orthodox, don’t know the exact name of their place of worship) here in Bialystok.
And this is just my labcoat shining with a black light on it in the basement of Collegium Universum.

Psychology, Sociology, First Aid
Filed Under AMB Division, General | Leave a Comment
So we have new courses now. Psychology seems interesting, and it’s being taught by a Brit! We can actually safely assume every word she says is what she wanted to say, unlike some teachers. Sociology seems ok, the book will probably be interesting but the lecturer might need some brushing up on. First Aid so [...]

I jogged yesterday to my fiancee’s house in order to give her bus pass back. I use it for Sundays when I go for my Karate. But there was no karate yesterday, I should really start checking my club’s website more often. Today’s session was pretty good. I got worked up and we did kata’s. [...]

Happy Chinese New Year! Year of the Pig
Filed Under Fitness, General | Leave a Comment
In China, the pig is associated with fertility and virility. To bear children in the year of the pig is considered very fortunate, for they will be happy and honest. So all you hopeful parents out there, get crackin’! How do Muslims respond to this with the pig being an “unclean” animal and all? Does [...]

Aquarium Plants
Filed Under Fishkeeping, General | Leave a Comment
I don’t know if I posted this earlier but I added real plants to my aquarium. Thought I’d give a picture or two.
This one grows really fast. It’s already shooting out two roots and the time that it took for the first root to get to that length was around 5 days.

The fiancee and I watched Babel which had Brad Pitt and some other actors (the woman from Lord of the Rings? My actress memory kind of sucks). I hated it. the fiancee tried to somehow make it seem as if the movie was psychological or had some deeper meaning, but this was an utter and [...]

The doctor (the one I went to in order to see what was wrong with my foot because yesterday I developed this intense pain after karate) pretty much said the same things I told myself. It could just be an injury, rest and recuperate. Or it could be a fracture, get an xray. She also [...]

I love that rush of blood that gets to your face and appendages when you walk inside after a very very long walk in -11 Celsius weather. The rush creates this burning sensation. Just beautiful. I had an icicle of snot hanging from my nose.
Karate was pretty good today. Got some 360 crescent kicks in [...]

I passed my practical part on histology flawlessly. 10/10 slides were recognized.
I also flashed my phone, or rather ‘debranded’ it. As celebration I thought I would post some pictures.
This is my desk/work area. There’s more room than it looks.
That’s the big room in my apartment. A full 180 degree view. You can click to see [...]
